Rubber types we carry
-
The high performance edging rubber for standing on the smallest of edges. Good for hard multipitch and steep edgy sport. Examples of shoes found on: La Sportiva Miura, TC Pro, and Scarpa Vapor VS.
-
Offers a balance between durability, edging, and grip on any surface. Found on Tenaya shoes and older versions of La Sportiva and Scarpa.
-
The evolution of XS Grip, sticky rubber geared towards smearing, moderate edging, hard bouldering and overhanging routes. Examples of shoes found on: La Sportiva Solution, Skwama, and Scarpa Drago.
-
Slightly stiffer than XS Grip 2 and sticky as a pot of honey, this rubber is equivalent to the old Stealth C4 compound. High end rubber with a balanced capacity for edging and smearing. Found on the Unparallel line of shoes.
-
Softer than RH and the stickiest pot of honey Pooh Bear ever tasted. This rubber is a highly sensitive performance rubber that’s great for smearing and sticking to steep terrain. If you’re looking for durable, edging rubber, don’t pick this one. Found on the Unparallel line of shoes.
