How it Works

We offer a few ways for you to get your shoes to us

but no matter which way you do it, we will always need you to fill out our online order form — one form for each pair of shoes coming our way!

  • We currently have open Drop Boxes at the following climbing gym:

    • BoulderHouse Victoria

    • Hive Vancouver

    • Base5 Coquitlam

    • Ground Up Squamish

    Be sure to follow these steps before dropping off your shoes:

    1. Make sure your shoes are in repairable condition. If you are not sure, email us with some pictures and we’ll let you know.

    2. Fill out the online order form on our website. You will need to submit one order form for each pair of shoes dropped off.

    3. Fill out a tag with your first and last name, email address, phone number, and the gym you are dropping off at.

    4. Remove any other items with your shoes - such as bags and carabiners. We always try to return these items but occasionally they do get lost!

    5. Use the zip tie to attach your shoes together with the filled out tag. If you have multiple pairs, attach them all together with your filled out tag.

    6. Drop your shoes in the drop box!

  • You can drop off your shoes at our shop anytime during our regular business hours!

    This is a great option if you have any questions about your shoes, the order form, our process, or want to check out our selection of new shoes and gear.

  • Can’t make it to the shop and don’t live near one of our gym drop boxes? No problem! You can mail them directly to us and we will mail them back to you after.

    Be sure to follow the steps below when mailing in your shoes:

    1. Make sure your shoes are in repairable condition. If you are not sure, email us with some pictures and we’ll let you know.

    2. Fill out the online order form on our website. You will need to submit one order form for each pair of shoes mailed in.

    3. Fill out a tag with your first and last name, email address and phone number. Use a zip tie, string, or something similar to attach your shoes together with the filled out tag. If you have multiple pairs, please attach each pair together with a filled out tag.

    4. Remove any other items with your shoes - such as bags and carabiners. We always try to return these items but occasionally they do get lost!

    5. Mail your shoes to our shop located at: 132-2936 Amy Rd, Langford, BC V9B 0B2

    Please Note: the cost of shipping the shoes back to you will be added to your resole invoice. Return shipping typically costs in the range of $15-$30 depending on how many pairs of shoes and where they are being shipped.

    Have a group of friends all needing their shoes resoled? Even better! Get together 8 pairs of shoes or more and we will cover the cost of return shipping.*

    Be sure everyone follows the steps below when mailing in the group order:

    1. Make sure your shoes are in repairable condition. If you are not sure, email us with some pictures and we’ll let you know.

    2. Fill out the online order form on our website. You will need to submit one order form for each pair of shoes being mailed in. Please select Group Shipment under “Where are your shoes coming from?” and include the first and last name of the person in charge of shipping the shoes.

    3. Fill out a tag with your first and last name, email address and phone number. Use a zip tie, string, or something similar to attach your shoes together with the filled out tag. Each individual pair of shoes in the group order needs to be attached together with a filled out tag.

    4. Remove any other items with your shoes - such as bags and carabiners. We always try to return these items but occasionally they do get lost!

    5. Pack up all the tagged pairs of shoes in a box and mail it to our shop located at: 132-2936 Amy Rd, Langford, BC V9B 0B2

    *Please Note: To qualify for free return shipping all invoices must be paid within one week. Any outstanding invoices beyond seven days within a group order will be billed for shipping and sent individually once payment is received.

What to expect after sending in your shoes

Curious what your shoes are going to look like after they have been resoled? Check out some of our work!

  • Once you’ve dropped off your shoes at one of our drop boxes, we’ll pick them up or have the shipped to us at the next scheduled pick up date

    Check out our pick up calendar for upcoming pick up dates.

    You will receive a confirmation email once we have your shoes in the shop.

    This is typically within 2-5 business days after the drop box pick up date, depending on where your shoes are coming from. The confirmation email will include our estimated shop turnaround time.

    Once we have resoled your shoes, and the other shoes we picked up at the same time as yours, you will receive an email invoice.

    We offer a 5 day payment window where you, and everyone included in the same batch of shoes as you, will have 5 days to pay their invoice to be included in the next shipment of shoes heading back to the gym they were dropped off at.

    Shoes are not sent back until they are paid for.

    Shoes paid for after the 5 day window will be sent back in the following shipment. Unpaid orders will be held at the shop until payment is received.

    You will receive an email confirmation with pick up details when your shoes are on their way.

    This is typically within 2-3 business days after you dropped off your shoes. The confirmation email will include our estimated shop turnaround time.

    Once your shoes have been resoled you will receive an email invoice.

    Invoices can be paid online by credit card or by e-transfer to info@westcoastresoles.com

    Come pick up your shoes!

    You can come by and pick up your shoes anytime during our regular shop hours.

    Hours:

    This is typically within 2-3 business days after we receive your shoes in the shop. The confirmation email will include our estimated shop turnaround time.

    Once your shoes have been resoled you will address confirmation email.

    We always reach out to confirm the address you would like your shoes shipped to.

    Once we confirm your shipping address, you will receive an email invoice.

    Your invoice will include the cost of resole plus return shipping. Invoices can be paid online by credit card or by e-transfer to info@westcoastresoles.com

    We ship your shoes!

    Once your invoice is paid, we ship your shoes. You will receive tracking information directly from the courier.

  • Everyone will receive a confirmation email once we have the group shipment of shoes in the shop.

    This is typically within 2-3 business days after we receive the shoes in the shop. The confirmation email will include our estimated shop turnaround time.

    Once everyones shoes have been resoled, the group shipper will receive an address confirmation email.

    We always reach out to confirm the address we are shipping the shoes to.

    Once we confirm the shipping address, everyone will receive an email invoice.

    Invoices can be paid online by credit card or by e-transfer to info@westcoastresoles.com. All invoices must be paid within one week to qualify for free return shipping. Any outstanding invoices beyond seven days within a group order will be billed for shipping and sent individually once payment is received.

    We ship your shoes!

    Once all invoices are paid (or 7 days has passed), we ship your shoes. The group shipper will receive tracking information directly from the courier. Any unpaid orders will be held at the shop until we receive payment.
